Creativity!
In true BCD style, we had a creative day this weekend. Our littles love to paint. Oh my gosh, do they love to paint! During this painting session, we talked a lot about how mixing colors together makes new colors. We experimented with more/less of one color to create different shades of a color. And as usual, we had a HUGE mess at the end! These two are so good at making a mess. Whether they are creating a masterpiece with paper and paint inside or with God’s creations outside, it’s usually messy! So often we encounter a pile of mud, rocks, pinecones and sticks only to be told "it is food for our horses” or something of the like. Some days the fig tree in our backyard turns into a horse stable with bikes tied to the tree by jump ropes. We love to watch how their boredom turns into something so fun, creative, and of course messy! I always tell them “I love to see you all make messes, it’s fun to make a mess…but you have to clean it up!” We hope your family has as much fun making creative messes as we do! - Ashley
